The act of creation
builds the evidence.
Signet gives you the record.
Studio is the black-box flight recorder for creative work.

Creative work now happens across AI tools, editing apps, source libraries, and human decisions. By the time an asset is finished, the evidence of how it was made is often scattered, overwritten, or impossible to verify.
Generative AI made convincing media cheap and instant to produce — creating new risks for anyone who publishes or delivers creative work.
Risk management requires on-demand answers:
- What happened while the work was being made?
- Where, and how, did AI assist or generate?
- What did the human choose, reject, edit, approve, and deliver?
- Do we own this — and can we prove it?
- Can a reviewer who isn't technical actually understand the answer?
The record is written during production.
Studio COR uses minimal, event-driven workflow sampling to document the evidence created during production. Studio then writes a Creative Origin Record that helps teams support claims around authorship, source use, AI involvement, approvals, and deliverability.
Signet doesn't determine ownership or authenticity. It records the production evidence needed to evaluate those claims.

Limitations
No provenance system makes fraud impossible. What Studio's evidence model requires a forgery to defeat.
Local by Design
Collection runs on each contributor's device. Only sealed, signed record segments sync. Working files stay on your machines.
IP & Ownership
Copyright in mixed AI/human work attaches to the documented human contribution. The record documents it.
C2PA Supportive
How Studio handles Content Credentials in a mixed pipeline, and why the record does not depend on embedded manifests.
Open Standards
The specifications the record is built on, how verification runs without Signet, and the wind-down commitment in the Terms of Service.
The Evidentiary Artifact
The Creative Origin Record: contents, structure, and how verification behaves when evidence has been altered.
Workflow Sampling
Event-driven samples across enrolled applications: what triggers a sample, what a sample contains, and what is never collected.
This is a Feature?
What the COR documents: what gets sampled during production, what gets sealed, and what a reviewer actually sees.
Sampled during production.
Sealed at delivery.
The Creative Origin Record. One document, readable in any browser: what the record can establish, what it deliberately doesn't claim, the witnessed process timeline, declared sources with their credentials or their honest absence, AI-use declarations, and the deliverable bound to it all by hash. Tamper with the evidence and verification says so — specifically, sample by sample, without theatrics.
